Gnome Witch Wizard hat - long hand felted pointy costume hat - the perfect headgear for a witch, wizard, druid or gnome cosplay.
This hat is quite thick and very warm. It is made of wool in natural beige and gray melange color.
Natural creamy white linen fibers were mixed together with wool to achieve more interesting texture.
I made this hat using one of the oldest fiber production technique known to mankind - wet felting.
It was shaped and blocked by hand. The hat is seamless, no stitching, no gluing were used - just pure wool, warm water, olive oil soap and the power of my hands.
All of my felt-works are made as one-off pieces which is why you can be sure that what you get is a unique and one-of-a-kind piece of exceptional craft. No two are ever the same!
It is not only decorative costume hat - you can wear it daily!
Felt is a very durable material. It's windproof and water repellent. It will keep your head warm and cozy but it will never overheat it thanks to amazing thermal properties of the merino wool.
