Unique primitive tribal wolf hood - the perfect headgear for a shaman, orc cosplay or as a unique prop for one of the fantasy LARPs.
This unique wolf hood is made using one of the oldest fiber production technique - hand wet felting. I make this hood with two types of wool - soft, extra fine merino wool inside the hat and natural gray coarse/thick Mountain sheep wool outside the hat. This coarse raw wool and wool locks add cool shaggy, wild look to the hat (It might feel itchy for some people).
Size: oversize, fits all.
The hat was shaped and blocked by hand - I don't use steam, glue or any other stiffeners or stitching. Just pure wool, warm water, olive oil soap and the power of my hands.
All of my felt-works are made as one-off pieces which is why you can be sure that what you get is a unique and one-of-a-kind piece of exceptional craft. No two are ever the same!
It is not only decorative costume hat - you can wear it daily!
Felt is a very durable material. It's windproof and water repellent. It will keep your head warm and cozy but it will never overheat it thanks to amazing thermal properties of the merino wool.
